Join us for a guided hike on April 3rd at 7:15 PM as we watch the sun set over Mac Lake. Look for deer, bats, alligators and other wildlife that emerge at dusk, as we learn about nocturnal animals and their special adaptations to the dark.
The hike is about a mile long and takes about an hour to complete. Reservations are required, as space is limited. RSVP's can be made by calling 863-815-6761. A portion of this hike will be in the dark, so it's recommended that you bring a flashlight.
It's recommended that you bring bug spray, water and wear closed-toed shoes. Please arrive about 10 minutes early to park and join the group as the program starts on-time. Sunset hike program is free with regular park admission.
